Counseling Associates is staffed by therapists with expertise in all phases of life issues. We are now open six days a week with morning, afternoon, evening and Saturday appointments. Therapists work on an individual (one-on-one) basis with couples, families and groups. The practice has a working relationship with psychiatrists who can prescribe and supervise medications, as well as area medical practices. Services are insurance reimbursable depending on patients' coverage. Sliding fees are available where appropriate.

Twenty-four hour emergency service is available. The Center provides free initial consultation, reasonable rates and accepts most insurance. Counseling Associates of Greater Danbury is a practice that meets the counseling needs of individuals, couples and families. The staff of therapists is highly credentialed with a wide range of experience working with adults, children and adolescents.

THE CENTER:

Free Initial Consultation: We provide a consultation at no cost in order to allow the opportunity for both client and therapist to explore their compatibility. We believe that a successful counseling relationship comes from commitment to common goals.
Twenty-Four Hour Coverage: When you call Counseling Associates, you speak to a staff member, not a machine. We are accessible and available to work with you in meeting your needs.
A Holistic Approach: Our therapists work with other support services in helping you coordinate your treatment. Therapists are willing to communicate with your child's teacher or school personnel to build a home/school/therapy coalition. Your physician and a staff therapist may work together to coordinate services if you so request.
Respect and Confidentiality: All sessions are privileged and private and information about your treatment, or the fact that you are receiving treatment, will not be made known without your consent.
